Have you ever had to front a video camera and come up with something mildly intelligent or amusing?Β Well, it is not as easy as it looks. It is a bit dazzling, let me tell you, even if you are very familiar with the subject matter.
Now, I’m certainly not about to develop any compassion for politicians, but I do have a bit of an insight into how an average person might feel when faced with the glare of studio lights, banks of camera & sound equipment and an interviewer fielding a barrage of hard hitting questions.
That was our experience recently when my sister Robyn Cook thought it would be a good idea to sit us down and delve into our world of full time travelling and house sitting.
Robyn fronts a Facebook podcast, named Stories from the Red Couch, where she gets to sit and chat to folk about all kinds of interesting things in their lives. And then she ran out of people and asked us….no just kidding, there’s a long line of people waiting for their turn on the couch.
Anyway here we are, having a Q&A session on that red couch with Robyn hitting us with all manner of interrogation and I think we scraped through ok with our integrity intact.
There’s a whole lot of fun going on over at Robyn’s place and I recommend you head over there for a look if you’re intrigued by compelling real life stories. If you’re around the Sunshine Coast and you’d like to have your own 17 or so minutes of fame just pop on over and drop Robyn a line. You’ll love it, I promise.

I think that was a beautiful interview. You both were very articulate. Nice light. Good quality audio. Nice examples on the subject. I loved it. Volkan
